Gauri Khan celebrates her first-ever restaurant’s grand opening with Bollywood Wives’ Maheep, Seema, Bhavana, Neelam

The inauguration of Gauri Khan’s Torii restaurant in Mumbai drew a crowd that included not only Karan Johar but also Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh.

Gauri Khan unveiled her latest venture, Torii, a new restaurant in Mumbai, where she showcased her interior design prowess. Renowned for crafting the residences of celebrities like Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra, Khan was accompanied by Sussanne Khan and other intimate friends for the celebration. Additionally, Gauri Khan reconnected with Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Sajdeh at the event.

Karan Johar, a cherished family friend of both Gauri and her actor-husband Shah Rukh Khan, made a solo entrance and graciously posed for the paparazzi outside Torii. Seema Sajdeh, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari, familiar faces from the Netflix series “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives,” gathered for a group photo at the event. Bhavana’s spouse, actor Chunky Panday, also joined in for some snapshots.

Gauri, sporting a dazzling top paired with black pants, was accompanied at her party by interior designer and actor Sussanne Khan, former spouse of Hrithik Roshan. Khan, elegantly clad in a red dress, posed alongside her actor beau Arslan Goni. Also in attendance was actor Sanjay Kapoor, husband of jewelry designer and “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” star Maheep Kapoor, spotted at Gauri’s gathering.

In a recent conversation with Vogue India, Gauri Khan shared insights into her new venture, the restaurant. When asked about her initial experiences as a restaurateur, she expressed, “We’re just at the beginning; there’s still much to learn. I’m eagerly anticipating the journey ahead and am thrilled to embark on this venture alongside my friends and co-partners Tanaaz Bhatia and Abhayraj Kohli.”

Regarding her preferred dishes from Torii’s menu, Gauri highlighted, “I enjoy all the sushi, particularly the Dirty Torii, along with the black cod, green Thai curry, chicken sliders, and for dessert, the tres leches and churros.”
