Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Nadiad, Gujarat, which will be branded as an IHCL SeleQtions property.
The IHCL SeleQtions Nadiad-Ahmedabad, Gujarat, will feature 108 rooms and be situated on the Golden Quadrilateral Road along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. Amenities will include an all-day diner, a gym, a swimming pool, and a spa. The hotel will also offer over 10,000 square feet of banqueting space, complete with meeting rooms, pre-function areas, and open lawns for weddings and large events.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, noted that this signing strengthens IHCL’s presence in Gujarat. She highlighted Nadiad’s emergence as an industrial center and its strategic location near key cities in the state, which drives the demand for quality hospitality services. She expressed pleasure in collaborating with Ankur Desai on the project.
Ankur Desai expressed excitement about partnering with IHCL to introduce the SeleQtions brand to Nadiad, stating that the hotel will serve as an ideal destination for travelers from nearby cities such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Ekta Nagar, and Anand.
Nadiad, known for its ancient temples, has developed into a significant industrial hub due to the presence of manufacturing companies.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have a total of 25 hotels in Gujarat, including six that are currently under development.
