OYO’s parent company is planning to introduce 25 new Sunday Hotels throughout India

OYO’s parent company, Oravel Stays, plans to launch 25 new Sunday Hotels by March 2025. The rollout will begin with new hotels in Gurugram, Manesar, and Corbett, which are expected to open over the next two months. Sunday Hotels, a premium hotel brand that launched in May 2023, is a joint venture between the SoftBank Group and Oravel Stays.

Aditya Sharma, Business Head at Oravel Stays Private Limited, stated that this strategic initiative highlights OYO’s dedication to enhancing its portfolio with high-quality, upscale properties designed for discerning travelers seeking superior accommodation experiences. Sharma emphasized that the new properties in key markets are carefully selected to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.

The first Sunday Hotel opened in Jaipur in September last year, followed by locations in Vadodara and Chandigarh. Sunday Hotels are known for their luxurious amenities, with each hotel offering spacious and well-furnished rooms equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, premium bedding, and well-appointed bathrooms. Many Sunday Hotels also feature additional luxuries such as in-room dining, mini-bars, and premium toiletries. The concierge service provides travel arrangements, local recommendations, and special requests.

In June this year, OYO also introduced Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa, its first luxury hotel in Dubai. Other premium brands in OYO’s portfolio include OYO Townhouse and Capital O.
