Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of 10 new hotels in just four days, expanding its portfolio to include brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Individuals, and Radisson Individuals Retreats. The Group has also entered five new markets, introducing internationally branded hotels in Jawai, Sagar, Yavatmal, Ooty, and Calicut.
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Nathdwara Stadium, Rajasthan, is notable for being India’s first Cricket Stadium Hotel, with 234 rooms, 75% of which offer views of the main cricket field.
Under the Radisson brand, the Group signed Radisson Sagar and Radisson Mohali. In Southern India, the Group signed Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Calicut.
Elie Younes, EVP and Global Chief Development Officer, highlighted the rapid portfolio expansion in South Asia, emphasizing India as a key growth market.
The Radisson Individuals Retreats brand has expanded into Jawai and Ooty with the Aaramgarh Jawai Resort and Spa and Nilgiris Ooty Resort. These offer wildlife experiences in India’s only Leopard Sanctuary and views of the Nilgiris Mountains, respectively.
Three conversions under Radisson Individuals include Jasraj Place Yavatmal, Parallel Hotel Udaipur, and Hotel Gwalior Regency. Radisson Hotel Group maintains a strong presence in India with over 180 hotels and continues to be the largest operator in tier-1 markets like Delhi NCR, with more than 50% of its portfolio in tier-2 and 3 markets.
