The space, which was conceptualized by Renesa Architects’ Sanchit Arora, marries the minimalist style of Studio Renesa with the lively personality of one8 Commune to create a blend of luxury and comfort through a subtle interplay of textures and materials.
A multi-tiered cluster of cane lights is the most prominent element upon entering; it is a masterpiece of design that blends in perfectly with the interior’s monochrome theme. The room is luxurious without being overpowering, striking a balance between lively places like the bar and cozy eating rooms to accommodate a range of moods and tastes.
The in-house staff has put a lot of love and effort into the interiors and design, with each piece carefully chosen to improve the overall ambience. One8 Commune’s co-owner Vartik Tihara and head of marketing Sushree Vaish state, “Our aim was to create a whimsical feeling of softness that invites you to sink into a warm and inviting space. We’ve emphasised lighting, a gentle colour scheme, and the use of curves to foster an informal, relaxed atmosphere.” The bar has timber details that radiate warmth and refinement, drawing inspiration from premier international locations. It’s a place to relax after a hard day, sip expertly mixed cocktails, and have fascinating discussions.
The restaurant’s varied menu, which includes some of Kohli’s all-time favorites like Avocado Tartare and Mushroom Googly Dimsums, is sure to delight foodies. Chef Agnibh Mudi gives a creative tribute to Hyderabad with his love of regional Indian food and his inventive dishes, such as the highly awaited Soya Haleem, a vegetarian take on the traditional Haleem. Other regional favorites like Lime Chili Pickle Prawns, a South Indian take on modern butter garlic prawns, Bamboo Biryani, Hyderabadi Khatti Dal, and Byadgi Chilli Paneer, which combine the mouthwatering flavors of the city with one8 Commune’s distinct touch, are next on the menu.
The beverage menu offers a distinctive interpretation of cocktail culture by incorporating regional ingredients and combining sophisticated flavors with unexpected twists that pique the interest of the taste.
