Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL) is planning a big new development near Kempegowda International Airport, including a two million square foot business park and a 775-room hotel, as announced by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) on Friday. This project aims to be sustainable, inclusive, and resilient, transforming Bengaluru Airport City into an eco-friendly urban center.BACL, a subsidiary of BIAL established on January 21, 2020, is leading this initiative. According to BIAL, the business park will have smart workspaces in a vibrant setting, combining work and leisure to meet the needs of businesses and employees, promoting growth and collaboration. The design will incorporate natural elements to create a healthier and more productive environment. The business park will be situated in the Urban Forest, a green oasis at the heart of the development, blending indoor and outdoor spaces. An upcoming Metro station in Airport City will provide convenient access to the business park, enhancing connectivity.
By the end of 2026, the Combo Hotel is set to become one of India’s largest hospitality venues. The hotel will offer a total of 775 rooms, with 450 provided by Vivanta and 325 by Ginger. This collaboration aims to cater to both business travelers and tourists, offering a blend of luxury and affordability, and promising a diverse range of amenities and services to meet the needs of all its guests.
