Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced a strategic partnership with CG Hospitality to expand its hotel portfolio in the Indian sub-continent. The plan is to reach 25 hotels by 2025, with an investment of around Rs 4,000 crore. This portfolio will include 11 operating hotels with 900 rooms and another 14 properties under a new platform called ‘Ekyam’. The focus will be on destinations offering adventure experiences in the Indian Ocean and Greater Himalayan regions, as well as wildlife escapes. Ram Maheshwari, IHCL’s Vice President Commercial, will lead the ‘Ekyam’ platform, Chhatwal added.

He said that the total investment for this portfolio of 25 hotels totaling 2,500 rooms under the Ekyam platform would approach approximately Rs 4,000 crore.
